Focused on Sustainable Energy and Creative Expression

Ari Nader, second year MBA student at NYIT, will lecture at a university research and creative expression (SOURCE), hosted by NYIT in Manhattan - NY, on distinctive undergraduate researches this upcoming April for 2011.

Nader's research has been nominated as one of the most notable researches for this year's event, where he discusses pioneering ideas and innovative techniques prone to enhance creative expression.

In a related event, Education Without Borders (EWB) will host Dherar Mukhtar, MBA student at NYIT - Jordan, to demonstrate his research's latest findings regarding sustainable energy conversion.

Mukhtar's research has been selected for a presentation at the event  from 3,000 different researches.

Commenting on the selection, Dr Raed Abu Zuaiter, assistant dean of Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences, said: "These academic achievements underline our students' scholarly potential, which we continually support and enhance with practice-based programs in order to produce a creative and innovative generation capable of serving our community."

Abu Zuaiter also pointed that NYIT is currently working on establishing a unique partnership with Microsoft and other leading technology and engineering companies, to benefit from their expertise and enhance the university's curricula and match its output to market needs.

In addition to the participation of the university students in the competition "Imagine Cup", internationally organized by Microsoft, Abu Zuaiter confirmed that NYIT seeks to merge Microsoft's educational program with the university's curriculum in order for the students to acquire both a graduation certificate and MS certification.
