Senior officials discuss plan of action under new agreement
Dubai, February 21, 2009: As part of the move to synchronize its expanded operations, Imdaad, Dubai World's integrated facilities management company, discussed the strategy with officials of wasl, the asset management group of Dubai Real Estate Corporation (DREC). Imdaad recently won the contract to provide total FM services to part of wasl's portfolio of projects.
Senior officials of Imdaad and wasl held talks to formulate the operations, which will cover the group's projects in Satwa and Hudaiba.
Commenting on the new contract, Jamal Lootah, CEO of Imdaad, said "We are keen to keep up with the increasing demand for facility management in the UAE & GCC. We will ensure that wasl receives exceptional service from Imdaad," he added.

Imdaad's operations in Satwa and Hudaiba will cover 10 residential buildings and 490 villas where it will provide integrated facility management support, including cleaning, landscaping, MEP, security among other related services.
In response to the rapidly increasing demand for integrated facility management services in the country, Imdaad has recently been taking several measures to streamline its operations. In November 2008, the company launched a new division, Imdaad Power, to address the demand for temporary power supply at projects under development.
The other four Imdaad divisions catering vital segments of the industry are Operations, Consultancy, Environment and Welfare offering professional and technical support ranging from providing facility management consultation on operational strategies to value-added environmental and accommodation management services.
Imdaad has also announced plans to invest more in expanding its fleet with the addition of service vehicles including compactors and trucks for waste management. The aim is to cover larger area in shorter time.
Imdaad portfolio contains a group of international clients includes Nakheel, JAZA, DP World - UAE Region, Dubai Customs, Limitless. The company's operation covers the entire UAE. Some of the major projects Imdaad has undertaken include Palm Jumeirah, The Gardens, Atlantis, International City, Jebel Ali Port and Free Zone, Ibn Batuta Mall and Dubai Maritime City.
