Doha, Qatar - November 17, 2009 - IGTC-Gulf Trading Company (IGTC) - Chubb Fire Qatar, the leader in fire safety equipment, supplies and security solutions, has announced its exclusive acquisition of a revolutionary cooling system, Dry Mist. Designed as an ambient temperature cooling system, Dry Mist is the newest state-of-the-art product for indoor and outdoor heat relief. The system is trademarked by Nohmi Bosai, Ltd.
Dry Mist is the newest weapon in urban heat relief. Its fine mist system combats exhaust heat and radiant heat (produced by paved streets, high-rise buildings and fewer trees), as well as heat created by crowds. It combats the heat phenomenon through a system which reduces ambient air temperature by two to three degrees by generating a fine fog which absorbs heat as the water particles evaporate. The water droplets consist of extremely fine particles that evaporate right away, so people, furnishings and machinery do not experience wetness from the fog.
Since the air is cooled directly via the evaporation of the mist, the system requires less power consumption than other methods, making it a supremely energy-efficient cooling system. It monitors weather conditions such as humidity, wind and temperature, allowing the high-vaporization system to automatically switch on and off according to need, saving water and electricity. Dry Mist uses clean water and stainless piping to maintain hygienic quality.
Dry Mist's vapor is delivered via a piping system that is safe, flexible, dripless and leak-tight. It is easy to install and has already been used to great response in metropolises such as Tokyo and Aichi, Japan and now it became available in Doha through IGTC-Chubb Fire Qatar.
Speaking of Dry Mist's arrival in IGTC-Chubb Fire Qatar's renowned family of high-tech brands, Mr. Rami Batrawi, General Manager, said, "IGTC-Chubb Fire Qatar takes pride in offering the most innovative solutions to our clients.
