However, perfecting the internal quality system was not Integrated Digital System's only achievement. Seeing how 70% of a quality manager's job is focused in documentation and follow up, IDS has worked on creating a Quality Management Software solution that will turn it into an increasingly paperless and stress-free operation. And Quality Management, extends beyond obtaining ISO Certification, it is a daily task that requires numerous efforts from all members of the organization. Therefore, being built on Microsoft SharePoint technologies, the software is scalable to fit various types of enterprises and encompasses all aspects of day to day Quality Management and Monitoring.
"The product", explains Hamdar, "is something that started out as a tool that we used internally for our QM processes. Afterwards we realized that we can build and expand on it to benefit other organizations that have more complex quality systems and require a systematic and efficient tool. And with the help of several accreditation and quality management consultants, we have been able to do just that. "
The IDS Quality Management Software is currently being ground tested is several institutions, mainly in the healthcare sector and would be officially released in the end of the third quarter of 2010.
