Dubai, UAE, 29 November, 2004 - i-mate, industry innovators of end-to-end wireless device solutions and with global operations head quartered at Dubai Internet City, announces the arrival of their recently launched and much anticipated device - the i-mate JAM.

The i-mate JAM has been designed as a small, mid-tier music device with exceptional audio quality, which operates on Microsoft Windows Mobile second edition for Pocket PC. It can be used for accessing online music and internet with the built in GSM/GPRS mobile phone and the new Windows Media Player 10, as well as being Bluetooth compatible and having the practical fax capability. With a built in antenna the device is sleek, although packed with great functionality.

''The i-mate JAM caters to a specific market - the customer that wants all that goes with having a PDA, yet at the same time, has entertainment needs whether they be musical or visual," commented Jim Morrison, i-mate Founder and CEO. He added: "At i-mate, we listen to customer feedback and based upon this, aim to design devices that meet their needs. Launched at GITEX Dubai 2004, the i-mate JAM has already received great response and we expect it to be a popular device in the Middle East,'' he added.

With a 2.8" 64k colour transflective sensitive touch screen and an LED backlight the i-mate JAM is the ideal device for playing the full range of i-mate interactive games, such as Backgammon, Checkers, Lines and Filler, available from club i-mate. Also boasting a 1.3 Mega Pixel camera with a full screen viewfinder and a rotating screen, the i-mate JAM gives both excellent sound and vision - the ultimate solution to the communications and entertainment needs of the modern day.

In addition to this, all i-mate device users are able to take advantage of club i-mate, an exclusive online community which offers excellent real-time support as well as ring tones, games, device themes, music, software and accessories at special prices.  Registration is free and membership also allows you access to club i-mate email, a hosted Microsoft Exchange 2003 email account with a capability of 10MB storage.
