Huawei participates in the first round of the Abu Dhabi and China Economic Forum
in Shanghai
Dubai, United Arab Emirates, June 21, 2010: Huawei, a leader in providing next-generation telecommunications network solutions for operators around the world, participated in the "Abu Dhabi and China Economic Forum", held recently at the Sheraton Shanghai Hotel & Residences. The Forum discussed and highlighted the extensive trade and investment opportunities that exist between China and Abu Dhabi.
The forum focused on investment opportunities in the key sectors driving the economic diversification process as stated in the Abu Dhabi Economic Vision 2030 and is meant to create networking opportunities for Chinese and Asian investors with Abu Dhabi's key industry leaders, financial intermediaries and top-level policy makers.
H.E. Nasser Ahmed Al Sowaidi, Chairman of the Department of Economic Development and Member of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, inaugurated the forum co-organised with the Institutional Investor Conferences.
Speakers from different sectors exchanged views with more than 200 investors from China and surrounding Asian countries. The forum showcased the impressive range of investment opportunities available in Abu Dhabi.
Through interactive panel discussions and presentations, the Abu Dhabi and China Economic Forum, featured debates and discussions on key topics including:

- The Capital Markets
- Developing High-Tech Capacity
- Meeting Demand for Industry
- Integrated Transport and Infrastructure Capacity
- Strategic Partnerships in Energy
