Doha, 25 March 2013: HRH Prince Michael of Kent, first cousin of Queen Elizabeth II and patron of World Class Learning Schools, flew into Doha today to inaugurate Compass International Doha Schools developments at a VIP ceremony at IDAM restaurant, Museum of Islamic Art. The Prince's trip also took in tours of CIDS campuses at Al Rayyan and Madinat Khalifa for a ribbon-cutting ceremony and opening of an Art exhibition topped by a presentaiton of a commemorative plaque of the visit.

HRH Prince Michael of Kent
HRH Prince Michael of Kent GCVO* is a grandson of English King George V and Queen Mary, and a first cousin of Queen Elizabeth II. He is also the first cousin once removed of Prince Philip, the Queen's husband, through his mother Princess Marina of Greece and Denmark, daughter of Prince Nicholas of Greece and Denmark and Grand Duchess Elena Vladimirovna of Russia.
His father was the Duke of Kent, the fourth-eldest son of English King George V and Queen Mary. He is named after Grand Duke Michael Alexandrovich of Russia, the younger brother of Tsar Nicholas II of Russia, and first cousin of three of his grandparents.
