HRH Prince Alwaleed bin Talal bin Abdulaziz, Chairman of Kingdom Holding Company (KHC), met with His Excellency Mr. Tassos Papadopoulos Greek-Cypriot President at the Four Seasons George V Hotel in Paris. The meeting was also attended by Mr. Ahmad Bin Fahad Altobaishi, Assistant Executive to the Chairman of KHC.

After the cordial exchange of greetings between the Prince and the President, the two discussed regional and international social and economic issues and matters related to their respective countries. Furthermore, HE Mr. Papadopoulos mentioned the efforts being made in Cyprus to develop the economy and how to strengthen Saudi-Cypriot ties. 

H.E. Mr. Papadopoulos referred to the potential for the development of tourism in Cyprus in the light of the natural environment for tourism there.  The two discussed the possibility of collaboration on developing investments in the hotels sector in Cyprus. The president took the opportunity to present HRH with hotel investment ideas and commended the Prince on his substantial international investments in this sector locally and internationally.

Prince Alwaleed has direct ownership interests and significant hotel-related investments in three leading international hotel management companies, namely Four Seasons Hotel and Resorts, Fairmont Hotels and Resorts and M?venpick Hotels and Resorts, including hotels in Disney in the US and France and hotels throughout the US, Europe, the Middle East and Africa. European hotel assets held by Prince Alwaleed's trusts include the Four Seasons Hotel Park Lane, London and the Four Seasons George V Hotel in Paris.
