Special introductory promotion underway for consumers in the UAE
DUBAI, UAE, December 21, 2004 - HP has launched several new Digital Projectors that are designed to enhance the cinema viewing experience for Middle East consumers. The range of new home products are marked by their versatility, connectivity, ease of use, and competitive pricing.
Announcing details, and flagging off a consumer promotion to mark the launch of the new projectors, Thomas Valjak, Category Manager, Imaging & Printing Group, HP Middle East said that while HP continued to drive innovation to help businesses across the world, it was equally important for the company to focus on individuals and families. "HP is always working towards helping consumers communicate more effectively, explore diverse avenues of entertainment, and make maximum use of technology in their everyday lives.
Two new HP digital projector series - the ep 7100 series and ep 9012 - are being launched across the region exclusively addressing home owners, families and individuals who are avid movie enthusiasts and wish to make the most of their options," he stated.
Elaborating on the two series, Valjak said that the HP ep7100 Home Cinema Digital Projector Series is designed for demanding consumers who seek premium quality, and want it delivered in the comfortable confines of their home. "Easier to use than most standard projectors, the ep7100 is marked by significantly better image quality. The high quality video processing and intuitive controls make it one of the simplest ways to watch great images on a big screen, while at home. Users can also change between different video modes with a single button, making it extremely user friendly," he said.
The ep 9012 series Digital Projector is the first ever projector to have an integrated DVD player and boasts a 2.1 stereo sound/subwoofer. ".The ep9012 delivers a big screen experience with superior image quality and startlingly life-like colours. What makes it great for home use is its array of intuitive and adjustable features like brightness, contrast, sharpness, mode, colour saturation, tint, space and settings.
"What is more, the buttons on the back-lit remote control mirror those on the projector, allowing for single button changes. It is as simple as connecting to a power plug point and enjoying the show," he explained.
Valjak also announced the launch of a unique HP promotion currently underway in the UAE at Plug-ins, Compume and Jacky's.
