Honeywell's Expertise and Technology to Help Prepare University Students for Future Careers

DAMMAM, Saudi Arabia, October 25, 2009 - Honeywell (NYSE:HON) today announced an academic and industrial collaboration program with King Faisal University (KFU). As part of the program, Honeywell will provide technical and research support, training, internships, scholarships and bursaries to selected students enrolled in the University's electrical, instrumentation, chemical engineering, computer science and management programs. KFU will leverage Honeywell's expertise and resources to help keep its technical curriculum current and aligned with the latest industry developments and trends.

The program will commence in September 2009 and will include the launch of a summer internship program and academic achievement awards for six students, in addition to regular seminars and career days hosted by Honeywell executives. KFU faculty will benefit from opportunities to familiarize themselves with the latest technology by participating in Honeywell projects. Honeywell will also work with KFU to implement training and recruitment programs and install Honeywell technology in the University's laboratories.
