Dubai, United Arab Emirates. 19 November, 2009: Hino Motors Ltd has officially launched their first regional technical training centre in Sharjah Airport International Free Zone at an inauguration ceremony attended by regional Hino distributors and senior Hino Motors Ltd management.
The company which has been present in the Middle East since 1970 has grown dramatically
expanding its product offering from heavy duty trucks to medium and light duty trucks. In 2005 Hino sold 2,245 units in the Middle East which more than doubled in 2008 with a total of 4,896 units.
Mr Takeshi Kumeda, Hino Motors Ltd, General Manager, Middle East Office, "In view of this increase in sales and growth of our dealer network across the region, it is essential Hino Motors Ltd offer the appropriate support network to facilitate this continued growth. The centre, which will be run by Japanese instructors and employs the latest technology, will follow Hino's policy of 'customer first' that underpins its successful global operations. Technicians and engineers from across the region will develop their skills technically and on a customer service level as well as receiving guidance in their personal development and career progress.
Mr Kumeda added: "Our company vision is to position Hino as a truly global brand for all customers offering the best quality products coupled with the best after-sales service."
