Investing in quality security standards to ensure the overall safety of hotel guests and visitors

Kuwait - 9th February, 2012: As part of Marriott's worldwide effort and regional initiative, Kuwait Marriott Hotels' Loss Prevention team and managers recently underwent a series of vigorous high level training sessions guided by Mr. Mark Walker - Senior Manager for Training, Global Safety and Security at Marriott International. The 'Loss Prevention Team' is dedicated to maintaining a high standard of security and safety for all the hotel guests and visitors throughout their stay.

Marriott deploys the highest measures of safety and security to ensure the well-being of its guests and visitors at all locations at all times. Over 100 Loss Prevention Officers and managers attended the crisis training at the JW Marriott Kuwait City Hotel, the Courtyard by Marriott Kuwait hotel and the prestigious Arraya Ballroom on armed attackers, how to identity and detect an explosive, ways to control a dangerous situation among other important skills. Essa Ghadban, Cluster Director of Loss Prevention was instrumental in facilitating this intensive training with Mr. Walker.
