World's largest general use car rental brand capitalising on 1.2 million RAK visitors
Dubai, 1 April, 2014: As part of Hertz's continuous expansion, the company has announced the opening of a new car rental location in booming Ras Al Khaimah, a move aimed to capitalise on the increasing number of tourists visiting the emirate.
With 1.2 million tourists visiting the region last year and an expected population growth of 4.7% by 2015, Ras Al Khaimah is quickly establishing itself as the emerging destination of the UAE, according to Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority.
Less than an hour's drive from Dubai International Airport, the new Hertz UAE branch inside Al Hamra Mall is situated within the boundaries of Al Hamra Village, the most popular community in the Northern Emirates.

With 70% of tourists coming from Germany, Russia and the UAE, Ras Al Khaimah is aiming to have 10,000 hotel rooms available by 2016 to accommodate its growing number of holidaymakers attracted to its beautiful landscapes, outdoor activities, distinguished geographical location and all-year round climate.
