Ahmed Saafan, Raya IT Information Security Engineer, was awarded the GWAPT certificate (GIAC Web Application Penetration Tester), making him the second qualified SANS (System Admin, Audit, Network, and Security) Institute Mentor in Egypt and the Middle East. His outstanding score of 92% entitled him to become a member of the SANS advisory board.
GIAC and SANS certifications provide comprehensive tools for securing systems effectively and for assuring that security professionals achieve the highest level of technical competency.
The GWAPT certificate is currently held by very few individuals worldwide, and as a SANS Mentor, Saafan can consult and train other candidates going through the certification process, proudly making Raya a pioneer in extending this service.
