Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain: Earlier today, Gulf Air’s Chairman of the Board of Directors, the National Carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, H.E. Mr. Zayed R. Alzayani met with Chief Executive Officer of Skytrax Mr. Edward Plaisted and its Head of Corporate and Brand Development Mr. James Plaisted; as the organisation begins to audit Gulf Air to obtain its latest Skytrax rating.
H.E. updated Skytrax management on the latest developments in Gulf Air’s services and products; noting the positive return the airline achieved through catering to its passengers’ various needs. H.E. also expressed how confident he is that Gulf Air’s offering will earn the airline a good rating by Skytrax.
Skytrax, the International air transport rating organisation, was established in 1989, and is based in London, UK. The organisation introduced the World Airline and Airport Star Rating programme in 1999 as a leading international rating system that classifies airlines and airports by the quality of product and staff service standards.
