Hotel Missoni Kuwait brings a new travel experience to the region
Kuwait City, Kuwait, 25 May 2011: The Rezidor Hotel Group, one of the fastest growing hotel companies worldwide, in collaboration with prominent Italian fashion house Missoni marks the arrival of the first Hotel Missoni in the Middle East.
The celebration will be held today under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Amir of the State of Kuwait and the presence of His Excellency Sheikh Ahmad Fahad Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah Deputy Prime Minister of Economic Affairs, Minister of State for Development Affairs and Minister of State for Housing Affairs, marking an important milestone for the unique lifestyle brand. The hotel brings a truly new travel experience to the region, an authentic experience-something that is uniquely Missoni.
Taking place at the hotel, the Grand Opening brings together all those who brought the concept to life. Rosita Missoni, Creative Director at Hotel Missoni Kuwait will join Kurt Ritter, President and CEO of Rezidor Hotel Group and Mr Adwan Al Adwani Vice Chairman for Al Tijaria Commercial Real Estate Company-owners of the hotel- to celebrate the opening of the second Hotel Missoni in the world.
The event will be attended by a host of VIP's including three generations of the Missoni family; Rosita Missoni, Rosita's daughter Angela, Creative Director of the Missoni fashion brand and Teresa Missoni, Rosita's granddaughter. Missoni is one of Italy's leading fashion houses, recognized throughout the world for its distinctive fashion and design, striking colours and use of pattern.
