Al-Ageel: "GOIC seeks to develop its services fulfilling its clients' needs."
The Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting (GOIC) has grabbed the best industrial website award for the second time during the Arab Excellence Competition organised by the Pan-Arab Excellence Awards Academy, regulator of the 11th Pan Arab Web Awards. 325 websites took part in this competition.
GOIC Secretary General Mr. Abdulaziz Bin Hamad Al-Ageel stated: "GOIC is yielding the result of its continuous efforts to develop its services to excel and achieve high quality standards in terms of design, content and technology. In this regard, I would like to commend GOIC's technical department and the Business Development and Marketing department for their endeavours aiming at developing and implementing the best techniques. Our ultimate objective is to allow visitors of the website to search for the content they need easily and efficiently and enjoy a memorable browsing experience of the website that includes the Organization's programs, services, fields of specialisation and achievements."
The Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting, represented by Ms. Razan Suleiman, received the award that was presented by Mr. Pierre Moukarzel, President of "Tatweej" Academy for Excellence Awards during the ceremony that was held at Al-Bustan Rotana Hotel - Dubai on the 29th of April 2014. The ceremony was attended by a large number of ambassadors and renowned personalities in the area of information and communication technology (ICT) and several economists, academics, diplomats, bankers in addition to representatives from government agencies, media outlets and other reputable guests.
Winning websites were selected by a panel of Arab and regional experts in accordance with international norms and standards adopted by the Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA) including: content, innovation, user-friendliness, structure, interface and visual design and aesthetics.
GOIC's website was developed by the Organization's information technology administration. It was renewed and re-launched in Arabic and English to shed light upon all activities and events of the Organization. The new website allows users to enjoy an easy browsing experience and navigate between different sections with ease and comfort. The content administration was developed in accordance with international standards in the area of web development using the latest software and technologies.
