Taking a cue from customer feedback Europe's top producer of welding electrodes, wires and fluxes opens office in Jafza
DUBAI, October 15, 2009: Eyeing long-term growth and following the trend towards more demanding applications, the world leader in alloyed welding consumables has officially launched its regional operations from Jafza.
The new Regional Sales and Marketing Office, Böhler Welding Group Middle East FZE will enhance the service levels and support for 13 countries, including the UAE and plans to swiftly leverage its reputation for innovative welding solutions and superior technical service. The Böhler Welding Group with it six product brands provides tailor-made solutions covering the complete portfolio of welding applications and requirements. The major industries that will benefit in the region include oil & gas, petrochemical, power generation, desalination and chemical.

During the opening celebrations, the new facility was inaugurated by Tareq bin Ghalaita, Vice President Commercial Sales Jafza, in the presence of Anders Andersson, Managing Director, Bohler Welding Group Middle East FZE. Special guests from the Böhler Welding Group headquarters in Europe included Roland Hausenbichl, Chief Sales Officer, and Martin Fuhrmann, Regional Financial Officer Americas & Asia.
Böhler Welding Group Middle East FZE is the newest addition to the Group's global sales network, during the opening ceremony it was warmly welcomed by Tareq bin Ghalaita, Vice President, Commercial Sales, Jafza. Their presence here further enhances Jafza's reputation as the preferred base for region-wide business."
From its headquarters in Jafza, Böhler Welding Group Middle East FZE will cover the UAE, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Egypt, Yemen, Syria and Lebanon.
