Move expands education & training offering to all Middle Eastern markets

Polycom, Inc.(Nasdaq: PLCM), the global leader in open standards-based unified communications and collaboration (UC&C) today announced that FVC, a leading Value Added Distributor (VAD) across the Middle East and North Africa has been certified for the new Authorized Training Partner (ATP) program. The ATP program, an enhancement to the retired partner program that FVC previously had with Polycom, empowers select Polycom distributor partners, with a demonstrated expertise in Polycom® RealPresence® solutions and RealPresence® Service specialisation, to offer classes and training to certify reseller partners on Polycom® RealPresence® solutions. Through this designation, FVC is able to rapidly expand its education and training offering for Polycom solutions throughout the regional markets in which they operate.

The ATP program is a key initiative for FVC, which focuses on the creation and implementation of unique and custom value-added support programs and services for its reseller partners. As an ATP, FVC can provide easy access to training and greater flexibility on scheduling and locations for resellers. These certifications are important for resellers looking to implement and support the Polycom solutions they sell.
