Amman, February 14, 2011--Fujitsu Technology Solutions, the leading European IT infrastructure provider, in cooperation with their local partner General Computers and Electronics Company (GCE) and Symantec Co., held a half-day workshop aimed at introducing the latest technologies in Datacenter and Workplace solutions and Dynamic Infrastructure solutions to educate the Jordanian market about the myriad of services the company offers to large, medium and small businesses. The event, titled "The Virtualization Event 2011" took place on Wednesday 26th of January at the Grand Hyatt Amman.
A number of experts from the three companies introduced the audience to the latest workplace, datacenter, virtualization and backup solutions including technology breakthroughs such as Zero Clients, a new technology that helps businesses grow while lowering costs by allowing secure virtual desktop access from anywhere in the world to meet the needs of an increasingly mobile workforce. The audience had the chance to see advanced related products such as DZ22-2, DZ19-2, and MZ900 (portable zero client) as well as advanced related solutions such as the Fujitsu ETERNUS DX storage solutions covering entry level, mid range and high end businesses.
