Events open at Expo Centre Sharjah on March 20
The third edition of Front and the second Middle East edition of Roof & Cladding exhibition will feature more than 120 brands of fenestration, exterior faade, and roof and cladding products.
The two exhibitions will be jointly held at Expo Centre Sharjah from March 20-22, 2007.
Front is the only dedicated sourcing platform in the Middle East catering to the construction sector's requirements of doors, windows, walls, related equipment, accessories, and machinery.
Roof & Cladding, on the other hand, is an exclusive sourcing platform for Roofing systems, Architectural Cladding, Structural Glazing, Curtain Walling, Faade Engineering, Metal Building Systems, Skylights and Sky domes, and Waterproofing.
This year's Front and Roof & Cladding exhibitions will host exhibitors from Finland, Sweden, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, Belgium, Germany, Italy, Turkey, China, Taiwan, India, France, UK, Qatar, UAE, CIS countries, and the USA. In fact, the exhibitions will feature a dedicated pavilion from Finland consisting of 10 companies.
Finland-based CT Building Material Manufacturing Company, a part of the Finland pavilion, plans to utilize the exhibitions as a platform for launching micro cement in the Gulf and also for attracting investments for its proposed cement factory in the region.
Among the other major participants at the coming edition of Front and Roof & Cladding exhibitions are UNICOIL - Universal Metal Coating Company Ltd. - Saudi Arabia, Zamil Steel Industries, Taiyo Membrane Middle East LLC - UAE, National Paints Factories Co. Ltd. - UAE, Euwin European UPVC Windows - UAE, and ALSTONE.
Besides the exclusive exhibit profiles, an added attraction of the coming edition of Front and Roof & Cladding exhibitions are the seminars and products presentations that will be held on the sidelines.
The seminars will cover a range of important issues concerning the regional construction industry including inverted and green roofs - A solution for utilising urban space, Balconies and Walls - Weather proofing in the Middle East, and Built-up Roofing, Cold Fusion bonding, Utilising Zero heat and Zero flame technology, among others.
"The Front and Roof & Cladding exhibitions are the Middle East's only dedicated trade events for fenestration, exterior faade, and roof and cladding products and technologies," said Mr. Saif Al Midfa, Director General, Expo Centre Sharjah.
"The exclusivity of the events ensure large and focused visitor turnout from across the region, especially from the construction sector. This edition, we expect a 15% increase over last year's visitor figures," he added.
The 2006 edition of Front and Roof & Cladding attracted more than 2,600 visitors.
Among the categories of visitors to the events are Architects, Designers, Builders, Contractors, Construction professionals, Consultants, Civil, and structural engineers, Planners, Importers, Property Managers, Investors, and Government Authorities.
Front and Roof & Cladding Middle East are an initiative of Expo Centre Sharjah with the support of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
