Beirut, 17 April 2012 - Ford has dominated the 2012 Kelly Blue Book Brand Image Awards by winning four honors, more than any other automaker. Ford took top honors as Most Family-Friendly Brand; Best Exterior Design Brand, Non-Luxury; Best Interior Design Brand, Non-Luxury; and, for the fourth year in a row, Most Rugged Truck Brand.

The Kelley Blue Book Brand Image Awards recognize automakers' outstanding achievements in creating and maintaining brand attributes that capture the attention and enthusiasm of the new-vehicle buying public.

The key research vehicle for the Brand Image Awards is Kelley Blue Book Market Intelligence's Brand Watch study, which taps into more than 12,000 shoppers.

Based on the study, Ford was voted as the "Most Family-Friendly Brand" because of its revamped people-shuttling vehicles, which have struck a chord with those looking to haul growing families and their gear in safety and comfort.

Overflowing with high-quality materials and the latest high-tech gadgets, Ford interiors break the perceptions of what can be achieved in a mainstream vehicle. As a result, the automaker has achieved the "Best Interior Design Brand, Non-Luxury" honor.

Ford's F-Series have won the "Most Rugged Truck Brand" because it offers durable pickup vehicle with everyday versatility while its bold, dynamic exterior design is why the automaker was voted the "Best Exterior Design Brand, Non-Luxury" for 2012.

On the latest recognition, Hussein Murad, Ford Middle East's director of Sales said:  "We are humbled by this string of awards from Kelley Blue Book primarily because it reflects how much the consumers are trusting and liking our brand.  Ford has been working tirelessly to provide vehicles that respond to consumers' lifestyle by bringing innovations that not only simplify their driving needs but provide them with technologies that are technologically-advanced and class-leading.  To us, the awards only mean we are on the right track."
