Saudi Arabia's national carrier offers free Iftar Meals on all flights during this Ramadan
Riyadh: flynas, Saudi Arabia's national carrier, announces the addition of 29,520 seats on board its 540 flights this coming Ramadan with an aim to accommodate the increasing traffic on its flights to Jeddah. flynas will also provide 143,000 meals on 939 domestic and international flights during this Holy Month as a gesture for its guests providing them with both comfort and value.
Commenting on behalf of flynas, Wael Al Sarhan, Director of Marketing and Communication explained "flynas is now capable to operate a large number of flights during peak season. This was possible after upgrading our fleet to 27 aircraft, which makes it much easier and more convenient for travelers visiting Makkah to perform Umrah starting from Jeddah off to Makkah. on board flynas."
Al Sarhan added, "The average number of flights from Riyadh to Jeddah before Ramadan reached 9 flights per day with a capacity of 1,467 seats which will increase to 14 daily flights at a capacity of 2,296 seats during the Holy Month of Ramadan. Regarding the Dammam Jeddah route, we were operating 3 daily flights with a capacity of 429 seats which will increase to four flights per day during the Holy Month."
Al Sarhan explained that flynas greets its guests and invites them to head to new destinations during the summer season which have been added to flynas network as part of its Global Flights Program. These new destinations include London, Manchester, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta and Casablanca, while as part of the existing program flynas operates its usual scheduled flights to Dubai, Sharm El Sheikh and daily flights to Cairo.
Flynas is operating a fleet of 27 aircraft including 19 of with a Business Class Cabin. The launch flynas new identity and the upgrading of its services will enable it to achieve additional growth as part of its expansion plans. The Airline is adding more key destinations on a local, regional, and international network as a key part of the airline's growth strategy targeting 20 million passengers a year by 2020.
