The first coachbuilt Rolls-Royce Phantoms to be delivered anywhere in the world have arrived in the Middle East. Rolls-Royce importers in Abu Dhabi and Dubai have each welcomed the arrival of one of these luxurious vehicles, with each being built to a specific order.

AGMC in Dubai has welcomed the arrival of a white coachbuilt Phantom with a 400mm extended wheelbase. Another coachbuilt Phantom, extended by 1100mm, has been delivered to a customer in the UAE by Abu Dhabi Motors.

"An additional row of rear facing seats creates a sumptuous lounge area in each of these very special coachbuilt Phantoms", said Peter Schoppmann, Regional Director of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars for the Middle East. "With Bespoke features such as a custom-built retractable privacy glass divider, pop-up television, a gold plated Spirit of Ecstasy and some interior diamond applications, these really are highly individual hand-crafted cars."

These Phantoms have been manufactured by the only approved coachbuilder for Rolls-Royce Motor Cars. Coachbuilt Phantoms can be extended between 400mm and 1100mm. The increased length of the extended vehicles offers even more flexibility on rear seating arrangements as well as other Bespoke features.

Each car is hand built, ensuring that the finished cars meet the very exacting standards set by Rolls-Royce.

These Phantoms follow in a long tradition of coachbuilding at Rolls-Royce. In the early days of the last century, Rolls-Royce manufactured the chassis, the engine and the drivetrain, while the body was in many cases produced by coachbuilders to specific customer orders.

The Middle East market currently claims the highest number of requests for Coachbuilt Phantoms worldwide.
