Leading ERP Company to Make New Appointments at Dubai Office to Support Expanded Regional Operations

Exact Software, a leading manufacturer of enterprise resource planning software, is to make a further investment at its Dubai headquarters, as part of plans to make the Middle East one of its four key worldwide pillars, it was announced today.

A new regional director of sales is to be appointed, as well as four additional support staff, in order to oversee the aggressive expansion project. The announcement comes ahead of office openings in Qatar and Saudi Arabia - due to begin operations by the end of the year.

"Exact's continued investment in the Middle East demonstrates the significance it places on the region in supporting customers deploying our applications and developing new business," said Nizar Badwan, general manager, Exact Software Middle East. "There are exciting developments ahead, and we need experienced and qualified staff who will support our activities throughout the region."

Exact, which has a policy to support the recruitment of Arab nationals, will seek to employ Emirati's in the new UAE-based positions, said Badwan. "As we expand in the Middle East, it is important that we have employees who are representative of the countries we will be working in. Exact is committed to developing local talent, and will always strive to appoint local workers wherever possible," he said.

Under the expansion plan, Exact will also open offices in Oman, the Levant and Egypt, as part of an 18 month-project to make the Middle East one of the company's four key pillars of the Exact global business. All offices will have dedicated country managers reporting directly to the Dubai Internet City headquarters, as well as to Exact's international head office in Delft, Holland.
