International Software Provider Highlights the Importance of Tailored ERP Solutions for Middle East Markets
Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Exact Software will stress the advantages of localizing enterprise resource planning (ERP) applications to reflect legal and accounting practices of different countries across the Middle East, when it exhibits at this year's GITEX.
"Regional organizations need to use ERP software that reflects the accounting, human resources and legal requirements of the countries they operate in," said Nizar Badwan, general manager, Exact Software Middle East. "Tailor-made solutions are the way forward, and we look forward to demonstrating this at GITEX."
Exact has localized versions of its solution for the Kuwait, Saudi Arabian and UAE markets, with plans for versions in Lebanon and Jordan well underway. The localized solutions provide country-specific functionality in areas such as payroll and tax while allowing companies with multiple sites to roll out a standard solution across their network to maximize their ERP investment.
"Localization differentiates Exact from other ERP vendors. We offer the broadest range of solutions that are specifically designed for over 30 markets including the Middle East," said Badwan. "Visitors to our GITEX stand will be able to view live demonstrations and discuss their ERP needs with our team of software specialists."
Exact's Globe 2003 Enterprise, which is fully Arabized and available in 26 other languages, is now available to our customers across the region. This allows international companies to standardize on one solution.
"Every country in the Middle East has different systems in place reflecting local considerations. Therefore, instead of a one-size-fits all approach to ERP solutions, Exact has customized their offering to particular markets, while still maintaining the core business features," said Badwan.
"Localization is a key selling point for us. Businesses in the Middle East have special requirements and it is important that we reflect that. At the same time multinational operations want to implement a standard system throughout their international locations, Exact can achieve both aims."
Exact has recently opened an office in Kuwait, and operations in Saudi Arabia and Qatar are expected to open for business by the end of the year. Offices in the Levant and Egypt will follow next year.
"GITEX provides us with the opportunity to promote Exact as a truly regional company with offices across the Middle East. Having a direct presence in these markets allows us to ensure high levels of support for our customers as well as generating new business opportunities," said Badwan.
Exact Software is located in Sheikh Rashid Hall, Stand H9-2.
