Italian fairground supplier, Moser Rides, which makes some of the world’s most spectacular amusement park thrill rides, will be launching its Energy Rush and Sidewinder equipment at the Theme Parks & Fun Centres 2004 (TPFC) show in Dubai.
 
Moser has produced the most thrilling and terrifying rides over the years including its Gravity Tower that can drop customers from up to 100 metres to its Delta Fly and Clessydra rides which provide a feeling of spinning and falling at the same time.
 
At TPFC 2004, which runs from April 27 – 29 at Dubai International Exhibition Centre, trade visitors will be briefed on the rides that are only for the brave as Moser takes high flying terror entertainment to another level.
 
Alfeo Moser, who owns the company, said that Energy Rush and Sidewinder are the next generation of thrill rides and they chose TPFC 2004 to launch them because of the growing market for excitement in the region’s entertainment market.
 
He said: “We offer a wide range of fairground products from kiddies’ and fun rides to the state-of-the-art machines that would test anybody’s courage.
 
“We have always done good business at TPFC and last year we sold some of our tower gravity fall rides, but this year’s new offerings are something else.”
 
TPFC 2004 will also showcase some of the most advanced technology for collecting cash from fun fair and theme park customers.
 
International Currency Technology (ITC) from Taiwan will be unveiling its Advanced Power Saving Acceptor
 
The company offers a wide range of cash collection and ticketing products including bill and coin acceptors, card and ticket dispensers and counterfeit detectors.
 
ICT Marketing Co-ordinator, Patrick Kuan, said he saw TPFC 2004 as an opportunity to develop business in this rapidly growing regional market.
 
TPFC 2004, which is organised by International Expo Consultants (IEC), is celebrating its 10th anniversary, has to date contracted exhibitors from 25 countries.
 
Abdul Rahman Falaknaz, President of IEC, said: “We are experiencing continued growth   in the theme park and fun centre market in the region and this is reflected in the fact that we have exhibitors from 25 countries signed up for this year’s show.”
 
TPFC also has the support of the American Amusement Machines Association (AAMA), International Association of Amusement Parks & Attractions (IAAPA) and the Themed Entertainment Association.
