Iconic resort launches Dual 10Mb high speed internet access
Abu Dhabi, UAE, 21 May, 2008; Kempinski's Emirates Palace is blazing a trail in advanced hotel information technology (IT) systems this month, by launching a fully integrated internet access bandwidth, upgraded from single 8MB to dual 10MB load balanced links, with optimum bandwidth speed.
"At Emirates Palace we endeavor to provide the best services and facilities in every facet of operations and this substantial technological development is one more way in which we are following through on this commitment" stated Hans Olbertz, General Manager of Emirates Palace. "With a worldwide reputation for excellence and as the leading conference hotel, it is imperative we keep abreast of the latest developments and offer our guests the most advanced options available," stated Hakam Sourani, Director of IT and AV of Emirates Palace.
For IT savvy guests and business travelers, the significantly faster access speed will streamline internet usage and file transfers as well as allowing more efficient contact with friends, family and colleagues, leaving more time to relax and enjoy the resorts premium facilities.
The resorts wireless network range is one of the most comprehensive in the country, spanning the entire hotel inclusive of public areas, meetings facilities, rooms and suites and even the poolside areas and beach!
The decision to implement the upgrade was largely due to the extraordinary high demand from guests and conference delegates, who regularly utilize the hotels wireless internet access during holidays or meetings.
