The partnership between eHosting DataFort and Double-Take Software, a leading provider of data recovery solutions, offer customers a single solution to perform real-time data replication on both Windows and Linux platforms from a customer's site to a hosted disaster recovery site .

The Disaster Recovery solution offered by eHosting DataFort and Double-Take will allow for recoverability and data replication including solutions such as workload availability; workload backup, continuous data protection (CDP); disk-to-disk backup solution; and 'workload move', a migration solution.
Migration: Customers can move critical workloads, including the OS, applications and data, between any combination of physical and virtual hardware (P2P, P2V, V2P or V2V). These server workloads can be moved within data centres as part of a hardware refresh or between locations for data centre migration and consolidation all while users remain online.
Backup: Organisations can continuously backup their data and applications into eHosting DataFort's data centres. Customers can also recover them on- demand to a new physical or virtual machine. Recovery can be done at the item level to any point in time.
Availability: Provides high availability for critical data and applications for disaster recovery and business continuity using real-time replication and failover that can protect individual applications, entire servers or virtualized workloads running on VMware Vsphere or Microsoft Hyper-V.
