Egyptian film star, Hanan al Turk, who is also a worldwide Ambassador for Islamic Relief will take part in the opening ceremony of the Saudi Gulf Luxury Trade Fair on the 2nd of August 2008, at 10.00am in London's InterContinental Hotel in Park Lane.

The Saudi Gulf Luxury Trade Fair is being staged over two days on the 2nd and 3rd August 2008, between 11.00am and 11.00pm daily. The event has close to 60 companies from the world of luxury and business, that include Saudi Arabian Airlines, Aston Martin, Harrods, Diamonds by Erickson Beamon, Saudi Fashion designer Amina Al Jassim, world famous British couture designer Bruce Oldfield, Europe Arab Bank, Arabian Oud, Sotheby's Realty, Qatari Diar etc.

The trade fair will be supporting its chosen charity partner, Islamic Relief. The charity's Ambassador, Hanan Al Turk will be at the event for the two days and at regular intervals will be meeting trade fair visitors at the Islamic Relief stand.

The world's most expensive abaya designed by Bruce Oldfield in association with Crosley Diamonds will be on sale at the fair for £175.000 with a percentage of the sale price going to support Islamic Relief.

Other people taking part in the official opening of the fair will include, Dr Hany El-Banna, Founder and Chairman of Islamic Relief, Afnan Al-Shuaiby, Secretary General and Chief Executive of the Arab British Chamber of Commerce and Ms Jennifer Fox, Chief Operating Officer InterContinental Hotels & Resorts Europe.

Admission to the trade fair will be free for visitors.

The organisers have promised the most exciting event for Arab visitors ever to take place in London.
