As part of EgyptAir's 73rd anniversary celebration in May ,the airline threw a gala celebration in the JW Marriot Cairo honoring Golden members of Egyptair Plus frequent flyer program.
Eng Atef Abd El Hamid , Chairman of EgyptAir Holding Company , expressed his appreciation for those passengers who have made Egyptair their carrier of choice, Specially honoring Egyptian superstar and UN goodwill Ambassador Hussin Fahmy for his support.
The Chairman bestowed upon Fahmy a certificate of merit and title "Golden Star " of the frequent flyer program. The actor ,in turn , thanked Egyptair for its annual support of the Cairo International Film Festival.
During the celebration , awards and prizes were given out by Karnak Tours, EgyptAir Tax Free Shops ,Emarco Tours , Hawa Magazine Joly for Car Rent, Radio Shake ,the Egyptian National Bank ,Master card , Federal Avis for Optics and Express Mail Company.
According to Mohamed El-Abbady, Egyptair Marketing programs manager , nearly 26500 people have signed up for Egyptair plus frequent flyer program.
