Manama, 14 April 2008....Ebrahim K. Kanoo, the sole distributor of Toyota and Lexus in Bahrain, was honored by Toyota Motor Corporation with two special awards in recognition of overall performance excellence in a ceremony held in Toyota Showroom in Sitra on 6t April, 2008.
Following an in-depth discussion on Toyota and its outstanding sales and after sales performance in the Kingdom, Mr. Uranishi, Toyota Executive Vice President, delivered a key-note speech and then presented the prestigious "Toyota Marketing Award for Overall Performance" trophy to Mr. Mohammed Kanoo, President of E.K. Kanoo. Afterwards, he presented a special plaque commemorating the "Toyota Marketing Award for Vehicle Sales Excellence" to Mr Fuad Kanoo, E.K. Kanoo Vice President.
The ceremony was attended by senior E.K. Kanoo management, including Mr Mohammed Kanoo, President of E.K. Kanoo; Mr Fuad Kanoo, Vice President; Mr Waleed Kanoo, Kanoo IT General Manager, Mr. Ismail Akbar, Executive General Manager; Mr. Fawaz Kanoo, Kanoo Vehicle Leasing General Manager; Mr. Bashar Darkazalli, E.K. Kanoo CEO and other key management staff.
Attending from Toyota Motor Corporation were Mr. Uranishi, Executive Vice President; Mr Kinoshita, Executive Vice President; Mr. Yokoi, Managing Officer; Mr. Nagata, General Manager; Mr. Negishi, Group Manager and Mr. Yoshida, Bahrain office General Manager.
