E-Vision customers get 24x7 support
Dubai, UAE, February 22nd, 2004 – E-Vision, the UAE’s only digital cable TV provider, has extended its customer support operations through the introduction of round-the-clock customer care, making it the first pay TV provider to offer 24 hours 7 days a week customer care in the UAE.
E-Vision’s contact centre staff are now available around-the-clock to offer support to their subscribers in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman and Al Ain. .
“Over the last 12 months E-Vision has more than doubled its offering,” said Humaid Rashid Sahoo, E-Vision's Chief Executive Officer. “With this continuing growth in customer base, coupled with the geographic expansion of E-Vision’s service coverage, comes an increasing responsibility to ensure E-Vision provides the proper level of customer care.”
Drawing upon the region’s digital TV entertainment providers, E-Vision offers its subscribers Showtime Cable, ART Cable, Orbit Vision, e-Pehla and e-Firstnet, all of which will be covered by the enhanced customer service operations.
According to Sahoo, the diversity of E-Vision’s offering poses unique challenges in terms of customer care. “In the UAE, only E-Vision offers this cross-vendor selection of entertainment packages, which means our support staff must be conversant with a variety of differing product packages, not to mention E-Vision’s own unique products such as the UAE’s only dedicated children’s channel, e-junior, E-Games and E-View pay-per-view movies,” he explained.
“By offering customers round-the-clock support, E-Vision is placing itself in the best possible position to speedily and effectively attend to any issues facing our customers regardless of day or night.”
