Supported by Intel, the UAE's e-Home AUTOMATION LLC launches new branches to service the markets for Digital Smart Homes in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Kuwait.

KUWAIT CITY, KUWAIT, 4th November 2008 - The UAE's leading Digital Smart Home provider, e-Home AUTOMATION LLC has officially opened two new offices, in Yarmouk, Kuwait and Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Supported by Intel Corporation, e-Home will begin to roll out its systems using multi-threaded chipsets into large scale developments.

The e-Home range of products has been designed with the GCC region in mind. Modular, it includes sub-systems including light and appliance control, motorized window treatments, security and audio video distribution. This range of systems can be brought to work together using the company's innovative e-Home CONTROLS software package.

Users of e-Home's Digital Smart Home system can communicate with their property through their mobile, pager, email, the Internet or even through voice commands to access a host of services including security features, lighting, heating, entertainment options, and air conditioning.

"We are delighted to officially launch our new branches and bring our systems to these countries," said Arch. Khalifa A. A. AlJaziri, Group Managing Director, e-Home AUTOMATION LLC. "We pride ourselves on our team's professional outlook and high service levels and our new branches are designed to enable us to offer the same high levels of service to clients in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait. With the e-Home CONTROLS system, people in the GCC can benefit from home control systems that are tailored to modern lifestyles and also accommodate the cultural and Islamic values of the region."

A project fully supported by Intel, which has leveraged off its four decades of experience in developing cutting edge hardware and software technologies, e-Home CONTROLS is easy to deploy and integrate with other hardware and yet still offers the latest in applications and usage to a region known to embrace IT.

"End users in the Gulf have been asking Intel for some time for a smart home solution that makes technology adapt to their needs, rather than the other way round. Intel has been working with real estate developers as well to maximize the value of their investments; research shows that when end users are offered additional services such as smart home technology based on Intel's multicore processors real estate developers see higher demand for their properties. We're proud to foster innovation, and we're even more proud to see that innovation coming from the Gulf and the UAE," explained Samir Al-Schamma, Intel general manager for the GCC.

e-Home AUTOMATION LLC and Intel are continuously working together to target leading Middle East developers to ensure that they have access to the leading technical innovations and know how. "With almost US$2 trillion worth of real estate projects in the GCC alone as of today, the construction boom shows no signs of abating. What real estate developers have lacked is a vision for the development of the future in terms of how people want to live. Intel's work with e-Home AUTOMATION LLC will fill that gap and ensure that the region's home owners lead the world in terms of technological innovation and a digital lifestyle," concluded Al-Schamma.
