Dubai Aluminium Company (DUBAL), received yet another international recognition when two out of three of the suggestions submitted by its employees won the Team Idea of the Year and Green Idea of the Year in the 68th edition of the USA Employee Involvement Association (EIA), competition held recently. The Employee Involvement Association is an internationally recognized organization serving professional managers and administrators of employee involvement and suggestion programs for over 68 years by providing quality educational programs, publications, benchmarking and networking opportunities.
Some of the major competitors that participated in the competition were Lockheed Martin Aeronautics, Honda of America, US Army, Commercial Bank AG and many others where DUBAL was represented by Saleh Janeeh, Senior Manager-Quality Assurance & Business Excellence.
The suggestion titled "Environment friendly fume duct damper maintenance" submitted by Mr. Satheesh, Mr. Robert Sotaso and Mr.Ajeeth, won the Green Idea of the Year category, whereas suggestion titled "Fabricate efficient multiple use table pre-heater" submitted by Mr. Sadiq Basha, Mr. Rao and Mr. Abdulla Asi won the Team Idea of the year category. Besides the above awards DUBAL also won the SEER Gold category award (Savings per employee Ratio).
