Dubai: 7 March 2007 - Adel Ibrahim from Dubai Studio City's (DSC) Locations Approval Services (LAS) Department gives the inaugural clap for 'Arabikkatha' - an Indian film in the Malayalam language being shot in Dubai.

Arabikkatha (The Arabian Tale) is being filmed in Dubai in association with Studio Art FZ LLC. Directed by Lal Jose, it offers a light hearted perspective on the lives of expatriates in Dubai.

The film is produced by H. K. Sainullabdeen under the production banner of Microcoms Entertainments, India. It features well-known actors from Kerala such as Sreenivasan, Zangh Shumin, Jagathy Sreekumar, Jaysoorya, Salim Kumar and Indrajith Sukumaran.

Dubai Studio City's Location Approval Services serves to expedite and facilitate all aspects of filming in Dubai and the United Arab Emirates. The services include location scouting, access to talent, arrangement of visas, airline bookings and advisory on affordable accommodation for crews as well as arrangement of all necessary approvals and permissions for production and filming.
