Dubai: TikTok for Business and Dubai Chamber have been paving the way for entrepreneurs and start-ups across the UAE by helping them with their digital growth strategies thanks to their partnership on the Dubai Chamber-TikTok Academy. To date, almost 300 businesses have taken part in the educational programme, with participants across a wide variety of industries such as tech, art, health, construction, banking eager to learn more about building and expanding their presence on the TikTok platform to grow their reach.
Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are a cornerstone of Arab economies, accounting for over 90 percent of all businesses and providing a major source of new job creation. “We take great pride in the interest businesses and entrepreneurs have shown in the Dubai Chambers TikTok Academy and in their participation thus far,” said Shant Oknayan, General Manager, Global Business Solutions, Middle East Africa Turkey, and Pakistan, TikTok. “In this digital age, businesses must dedicate their efforts to further strengthen their online presence for business success. We hope to support more businesses in the months to come through the Academy and help them with their digital transformation strategies.”
