Broad expansion serves clients across UAE
Dubai, 11 June 2008: Dubai Bank, an ethical and Shari'a compliant Dubai Group company, today announced the opening of a new branch in Deira located near the Fish Roundabout. This inauguration marks a continuation of the Bank's comprehensive branch expansion policy which resulted in the opening of 10 new branches last year, in addition to the new Jumeirah Beach Residence branch last Sunday and a further number of branches strategically located throughout the UAE.
The new Deira branch has been equipped with the latest technologies to enable it to provide even more efficient, effective service to the bank's customers. Like Dubai Bank's other 16 branches, the Deira branch will offer customers access to all of the bank's competitive Shari'a-compliant products and services.
The branch opening was attended by Ali Ibrahim, Deputy Director of the Department of Economic Development, along with Dubai Bank CEO Salaam Al Shaksy and senior Dubai Bank officials.
During the inauguration ceremony, Mr. Ibrahim commended Dubai Bank's significant achievements which have elevated its status in the Islamic banking sector, and he congratulated Dubai Bank on the opening of the Deira branch while expressing his sincere wishes for the bank's continued advancement and prosperity.
Meanwhile, Dubai Bank CEO Salaam Al Shaksy said, "The new Deira branch is the second Dubai Bank branch in a campaign of five branch openings over a period of two weeks, and comes as part of our effort to enhance our reach and facilitate accessibility for our clients, wherever they may be. This commitment is being fulfilled through the expansion of our branch network, which comes in parallel with the overall growth in business that Dubai Bank is experiencing, including our wide range of Shari'a-compliant banking products and services."
