Dubai, 21 March 2009: Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company PJSC ("du"), has been recognised by EuroWeek, a leading UK-based publication focused on global capital markets, for its successful AED 3 billion syndicated loan. du received the award for Best Middle Eastern Local Currency Deal 2008, as voted for by peers in a poll of banks, investors and borrowers.

Coordinated by Mashreq and WestLB, who acted as mandated lead arrangers and bookrunners, the AED 3 billion syndicated loan is a three-year facility.
