Telco reveals Arena Voice Exchange on the Virtual Voice
Network as latest offering at Capacity Middle East 2007
Dubai: 26 February 2007: du 's Chief Executive officer Osman Sultan addressed the forum at Capacity Middle East & North Africa 2007 Congress outlining the Company's aspiration of becoming a telecom hub in the Middle East. The new telecommunication operator in the UAE also announced Arena Voice Exchange on the Virtual Voice Network (VVN). The event focusing on telecom carriers, operators and service providers is being held at the Radisson SAS Hotel, Dubai Deira Creek, from 26 - 27 February.
Sultan delivered the key note speech at the forum, highlighting Broadband as a key driver for the growth of wholesale telecom market in the region. Also representing du was Mahesh Jaishankar, Director, Business Development and Marketing Carrier Services, who participated in a panel discussion on key drivers of capacity demand in the Middle East and North Africa wholesale telecom markets.
Announcing du's latest offering - Arena Voice Exchange on the Virtual Voice Network (VVN), at the conference, Sultan said; "Our aim is to provide carriers and operators with a platform to offer services regionally through this non traditional offering.
"We intend to be the partner of choice as the telecommunications hub in the region, and a gateway for other carriers from Europe or Asia Pacific.
