The state of art technology solution has enabled high-availability, robustness and better performance, in addition to faster disaster recovery capabilities.  The new architecture will enable us to introduce any new solution in short span of time, added Mr. Seetharaman.

Doha Bank Head of Technology, Mr. U. V. K Kumar said: "Doha Bank, the second largest bank in the state of Qatar, had engaged ICS in a major project to migrate the Core Banking system from distributed environment to centralized one. The project is accomplished successfully as per plan. The Centralized version of application is built using Oracle latest products i.e. ORACLE 10g Database, ORACLE 10g Application Server to host application. Doha Bank is the only bank in the region that has implemented ORACLE 10g Databases with RAC for high availability and load balancing. Doha Bank has been one of the most technology oriented bank in the country as it has lots of products that were launched as first in the country like phone banking, SMS banking, Mobile Banking, integrated with core banking System. The application vendor has supported the bank in achieving the milestones. Doha Bank had been using distributed application before moving to centralized one since 1999."
