Under the slogan "Creativity and Excellence"
The Training Centre of Dubai Municipality organizes its forum for the year 2012 under the slogan "Creativity and Excellence" on 6 to 8 November in DM club training centre, Jadaf area, Dubai. The forum will host outstanding lecturers from both inside and outside of the UAE for a variety of lectures.
The three days event comes as a part of celebrations of seven years of distinguished training and educational services accomplished by the Centre.
This year's Forum will host HE Qassim Sultan Al Banna, HE Major General Mohammed Al Marri, Director General of the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs, Dubai, Dr. Rashad Faqeeh, KSA, and Mr. Dul Kifli from Malaysia.
Mrs. Ahlam Amin Mirza, Head of Human Recourses Development Section said that this year we have selected an elite group of lecturers to effectively showcase the role of the Centre and its efforts to achieve the excellence in the performance of human resources. The forum also targets employees from all levels in addition to the special invitees from local and federal organization in the country.
'we feel pride and happiness in the achievements realized by the Centre towards bringing up a group of competent leaders and employees in the entire fields of municipal services in line with the organizational strategies with fruitful results,' Mirza said.
Khalid Bin Zayid, Director of Human Resources Department said the achievements accomplished by the centre under Human Resources Development were not fortuitously made, but rather a result of intensive efforts in which priority was given to the human element for development as the human resources are the most important resource and real capital of the civic body.
'The Training methodologies adopted by the centre are based on helping trainees explore their potentials and have confidence in capabilities exerting diligent efforts to improve them,' Khalid said.
'The Training Centre serves as the technical, scientific and administrative tool for availing the qualitative educational environment interweaving theory and practical application for serving the department's strategic goals,' he said.
'The activities of the Training Centre include Organization of training symposia, workshops and programs, in Arabic and English for the employees. It hosts international, regional and local specialized seminars and conferences in all fields. The Centre has been conducting several training programs such as Basic job training program for national graduates, Vocational rehabilitation programs for high school certificate holders, Training field visits for employees inside and outside the country, Summer and practical trainings for school and university students, and Internationally certified vocational and technical programs...etc, Khalid explained.
'DM's Training Centre has been equipped with the most advanced facilities such as three computer labs, eight training halls with highest technical equipments and support, smart boards, visual conferences aids,' he added.
