ADubai to offer advertisement opportunities for private firms
Dubai, 21 March 2007: Dubai Municipality and Photint Venture Group have announced the launch of a new government advertising management service, branded ADubai, [www.adubai.ae] which will offer companies and establishments an opportunity to advertise in the municipality-run websites.
This was stated by Abdul Hakim Malik, Director of IT Department at DM, who noted that ADubai offers a multi-feature banner ad management system that not only comes with a sophisticated statistics package, but also provides an intelligent dispersion of advertisements for maximum visibility across 19 bilingual websites of Dubai Municipality, including those for the Used Cars complex and Children's City.
ADubai is the result of a successful online advertising contract won by Photint Venture Group in association with long-term partners, the Dubai Municipality.
Malik said the initiative is yet another organic extension of the civic body's much popular e-Government services.
"I am confident that businesses would welcome the opportunity to advertise on the DM portfolio of websites using ADubai's advanced ad management system. The bi-lingual DM portal (www.dm.gov.ae) attracts over 769,000 hits per month, making it one of the most preferred online destinations for businesses in Dubai."
Photint is already in a lasting partnership with the Dubai Municipality in developing the Middle East's first multi-format imaging portal known as Oyoon. The catalog of Oyoon images, some never-before-seen, will be open to ADubai advertisers looking for a unique visual mode of connecting with their customers.
The Oyoon offering will also contain the world's first full motion 360 x 360 degree video, using proprietary Photint technology that will be made available to all ADubai advertisers looking for specialized digital content as a unique and inimitable marketing collateral.
The website www.dm.gov.ae with over 7,000 pages, is one of the largest municipal sites of the Middle-East, and has won the coveted Pan Arab award for Best ME e-Govt Website. Over 19,000 companies have registered for using the 500-odd municipal e-services, making it one of the most efficiently run systems within the present-day Dubai Government.
