Dubai, 14 December 2006 - A combination of stunning design and unique construction techniques guarantees that O14 Tower on the creekside at Business Bay will make a dramatic addition to Dubai's skyline.
Due for completion at the end of 2008, O14 Tower features unprecedented and innovative architecture.
A concrete shell creates a lace-like faade for the 21 storeys of custom-designed office floors which are carried effortlessly and efficiently without the barriers created by conventional columns and walls.
But this is architecture with a purpose, as the structure provides exceptional levels of light, air and views.
Designed by award-winning architects Jesse Reiser and Nanako Umomoto of New York-based Reiser and Umomoto RUR, the structural engineering of O14 Tower will be completed by YAS P.C., a respected name in structural and civil design.
The project will be developed by Creekside Development Company, which is owned by Al Baraka Islamic Bank, at a cost of some Dhs 300 million.
Rising above Dubai creek on a shore side site, O14 Tower will feature 21 floors of custom designed offices, four levels of underground parking, and high quality restaurant, recreation and retail outlets.
