New service point will boost convenience and accessibility for small businesses and the public

Dubai, 3 July, 2008: DHL, the world's leading express and logistics company, today announced the launch of a new Service Point located in Dubai Festival City. Offering customers convenience, accessibility and a user-friendly range of services, this new customer outlet complements over 21 other DHL Service Points across the UAE.

"Customer research conducted by DHL has demonstrated that many customers in the UAE, like the ease of convenience of visiting a DHL Service Point located in a mall. By design, malls are strategically located in high-traffic areas, making them easily accessible by walk-in customers," said Janet Jweihan, DHL Express Country Manager, UAE. "To meet growing customer demand, we have extended the number of locations to offer Service Points in most of the key malls in the UAE, including Mall of the Emirates, Dubai City Centre, and Sharjah City Centre," concluded Jweihan.

Including the company's easy-to-use international express services with simplified offers for customers, this latest outlet provides customers with exceptional service in an easy to access retail environment.  Core DHL services on offer, include DHL Express 9 and DHL Express 12 as Time Definite options for the more urgent deliveries, along with the standard end-of-day DHL Express Worldwide.  In addition, for imports from around the world, customers can use DHL Import Express, or the recently introduced DHL Economy Select as a new Day Definite option for less urgent, heavier items.

The new service point in Festival City is located on the ground floor of the mall, near Chili's Restaurant, and operates from Sunday to Saturday, between 10 am to 10 pm.
