Dubai: – Dentons senior associate James Osun-Sanmi received a Rising Star Lawyer of the Year award at the International Financial Law Review (IFLR) Middle East Awards 2021, which took place in Dubai on 27 October 2021.
James has extensive experience acting for issuers, dealers and managers on issuances inside and outside the GCC under both Regulation S and Rule 144A formats. He has worked on a wide range of different issuance formats, including standalone issuances, programme updates and issuances, regulatory capital issuances, corporate hybrid issuances and tender offers.
This award acknowledges his reputation as a rising star in advising on conventional and Islamic finance debt capital markets deals, including cross-border issuances, programme updates and issuances, and hybrid and standalone issuances.
