KUWAIT: In keeping with the spirit of the celebration of the holy month of Ramadan, Radisson SAS, held a traditional Iftaar party on Monday, September 24.
It was truly a delicious Iftar feast and a truly memorable evening for all those present. The chefs of the Radisson SAS had whipped up an array of Iftar dishes to break the fast. The Al Bustan Restaurant's buffet station was brimming with tantalizing appetizers, spectacular salads, oriental specialties and sumptuous desserts, whereas, those who wanted to enjoy the outdoors, also had plenty of seductions from them.
Al Bustan Terrace had live cooking stations where the chef prepared the delicacies right in front of the guests. BBQ grill stations with mixed grill, seafood, pasta and hot Iranian breads, oozing with flavors were being served fresh from the clay oven.
The outside terrace was decorated in an impressive ethnic style where guests relaxed and enjoyed shisha and exotic Ramadan drinks against the background of traditional live music.
To welcome the guests, general manager of Radisson SAS Kuwait, Jan Petter Eilertsen, was present along with his team. Eilertsen said, "It is really good to see a lot of familiar faces."
"We are very happy that lots of guests are coming back to us to celebrate this holy month, and enjoy the Iftar buffet," he continued. Eilertsen and his team also extended thanks to the local media for their constant support to the hotel. "Your support is crucial to the work we do. ...," he stated.
Meanwhile, the guests were absolutely floored with the professionalism of the hotel staff. "We had a delightful time and felt so pampered," remarked one of the journalists. "Very fine dining...plenty of exquisite seafood and huge range of brilliantly cooked dishes, said the other. "This is an excellent new way of meeting and net working with people," commented a business executive. "A great opportunity to mingle and share," echoed the other guest. Attending the event were a number of specially invited guests, representatives from business community, media representatives, and professionals from different walks of life.
