A competition to determine five winners of VIP packages for the 2004 Cyprus Rally, the most challenging event on the FIA World Rally Championship calendar, is now up for grabs on the official website www.cyprusrally.org.
The VIP packages include complimentary air tickets to the event, courtesy Cyprus Airways, five-star hotel accommodation, VIP passes to the opening and closing ceremonies, special stages of the event, access to important events and VIP dining areas.
To qualify for the draw participants have to answer three easy questions, coin a winning slogan for the rally and fill in their details. They also need to be residents of Cyprus Airways’ destination countries which in the Middle East include the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria and Egypt. The competition ends on May 1st and winners will be announced on May 2nd.
Takis Kyriakides, Rally Clerk of the Course said, “This event is a big favourite with motorsport fans world over and the website is the best place for everyone to find up-to-the-minute information on the rally – as well as providing a great opportunity for people to win an all expenses paid VIP trip to our beautiful island.”
The website has detailed information including dates, times, special events maps, daily itineraries and access to important stages of the competition which will be held from May 13 – 16, in the coastal resort of Limassol.
Round five of the 2004 championship, this year’s Cyprus Rally promises to be the best yet, with the world’s top teams and best drivers heading to Aphrodite’s isle to battle for the driver’s and manufacturer’s crowns.
