Doha - Leading Director of Strategy and Improvement from Mowasalat, Nasser Al Khanji along with Dr. Raghavan Seetharaman, Group CEO of Doha Bank are amongst the leading line up of C-level executives supporting the Qatar Gas Distribution Projects Conference taking place from 8th to 11th December 2013 at the Renaissance Doha City Center Hotel. 

Dedicated to driving growth of sustainable energy, the event has been researched and developed by the International Quality and Productivity Center (IQPC) and is spearheaded by its event partners Marafeq, Mowasalat and Qatar Fuel (WOQOD). It is supported by several key government departments and private sector organisations, including the Ministry of Municipality and Urban Planning, NGV Global, Qatar Petroleum, Kuwait Oil Company, Emirates Transport, Emirates Gas, United Nations Economic & Social Commission for Western Asia and the Embassy of Federal Republic of Germany to the State of Qatar.

Brett Subritzky, Mowasalat's Business Development Manager will discuss the roadmap ahead in regards to utilizing natural gas for public and private transport, establishing the needed conversion centers, training and developments and Qatar's ultimate vision and goals for NGVs in the country at IQPC's conference this December.

The event will also be the first Qatari-focused international conference to highlight the importance of gas distribution for achieving national energy security and sustainable development.  

Speaking on the importance of the event to the market, Leila Masinaei Al Marzouqi, Director for the Energy Division of IQPC Middle East said: "In Qatar, the first CNG Fuelling Station and first paid or public transport CNG buses mark the nation's march towards meeting its growing fuel needs with an environmentally friendly alternative. This event is an ideal platform for all stakeholders to come together for a sneak peek of what is expected to happen in Qatar's growing energy landscape." 

A high caliber of government and industry specialists will be participating and speaking at the forum.
