Computer Associates Middle East (CA-ME) Lebanon today announced the kick-off of an end-to-end Network Management Project at the Presidency of the Council of Ministers (PCM) in Lebanon.
“The project consists of implementing a state-of-the-art leading edge enterprise information systems management solution for the Presidency of the Council of Ministers in Lebanon. This mission-critical solution encompasses CA’s Unicenter Network and Systems Management, BrightStor Enterprise Backup and Recovery and eTrust Intrusion Detection as well as Antivirus,” said Engineer Claude Masaad, general manager of Technical Affairs at the General Directorate of PCM.
“This enterprise high technology solution is the vertebral column of the information technology infrastructure and data center at PCM,” Masaad added.
Hayssam El-Masri, director of operations at CA-ME pointed out, “The solution is dedicated to serving the PCM and Government Data Center. This technology solution is a clear tangible symbol of CA-ME’s commitment, as a total solutions provider, to the Lebanese and regional public and private sectors.”
In today’s fast-changing information era, the PCM is in the process of establishing a solid IT infrastructure to best serve its internal business as well as establish a reliable ‘exchange of information’ system between PCM and other Lebanese Government Ministries and, in the future, with the Lebanese public.
Management of such a mission-critical IT environment is crucial to PCM, especially in the sensitive domains of network and security management.
